La Maison Nityatte is a charming holidayhouse for a maximum of 10 people (9 + baby) on top of a gentle hillside in a peaceful rural area close to Saint Cyprien (lovely weekly market).

La Maison Nityatte is notable for its stone facade with classic shutters. This striking façade won’t lead you to believe how much space you will find inside and outside this remarkable place. With its five bedrooms, three bathrooms, a playroom and large kitchen with dining table and fireplace besides a huge garden, it is a wonderful house to share with one or more families.

Inside

The decor is an elegant combination of authentic features such as old doors and wooden floors with unique finds from flea markets in the area. From every corner of the large garden around the house, you can get a glimpse of the fairytale surroundings. La Maison Nityatte offers an ideal environment to feel yourself home and get some time for yourself.
The dining room is right next to the kitchen with a door open out to the South terrace where the extendable out door teak table and chairs are provided. 5 Bedrooms (2 Kings, one double and 2 with 2 single beds) and 3 Bathrooms complete this enormous house.

Outside

Go swimming in the heated pool or enjoy a moment reading on one of the (3) terraces; these facilities make this house as well a perfect place to stay outside the summer season. In the evening, get together with your beloved on the large terrace with a view to savour a family meal (prepared with the BBQ) at the large dining table or relax in the cozy lounge area.

A stunning property with wonderful views and a much-needed pool - the weather was hot... The house is very comfortable and there was ample room (and more) for all of us. Everything was ready for our stay and there is more than enough to do and see.

St. Cyprien is very close with a wonderful Sunday market which is well worth visiting. Lucco is the BEST patisserie! Other great places nearby including Beynac and La Roque-Gageac. Castles are superb (Beynac, Castelnaud, etc), as are the gardens and views at Marqueyssac. BOOK EARLY for an evening meal at the Belle Etoile in Beynac and go on a Gabarre trip. Canoeing on the Vezere from Les Eyzies was much quieter and relaxing than the crowds on the Dordogne. Sarlat is amazing, as is the Gouffre de Padirac if you're happy to drive and are not worried about crowds...

Overall a great place to stay.

Great house within 10 mins of the Dordogne. Secluded location with pool in v pretty valley. For a family holiday with friends it worked perfectly.
