We've just completed a marvellously relaxing fortnight in your most comfortable and welcoming home. Indoors and outdoors are both very agreable and we found ourselves spending a lot of time curled up with a book in the sitting room or enjoying the shade in the garden. The area is a real paradise for dogs, too, and Bonnie enjoyed many a refreshing dip in some of the streams and rivers we frequently encountered on our walks.

We had a tremendous holiday at La Rivière with our three dogs.  It is the most memorable holiday we have had to date and for all the right reasons.  The gite was exceptionally comfortable and was a home from home.  Any issues that we had were quickly and efficiently sorted by the excellent management team headed by Fiona Stonor.  Steve Clarke, the gardner/general handyman was just fantastic and so kind and helpful giving us great tips on where to go for dinner, lunch, shopping and sight seeing.  He is a perfect gentleman and we are both delighted to have made such a great friend.  Please thank the owners, Robert and Ann, for sharing their much loved property and pool with us!

La Rivière is situated in a most beautiful part of France and we have fallen in love with the area because it is perfectly located on the border of the Lot and Dordogne regions so one has, essentially, the best of both worlds!  We cannot wait to return to France and we were so sad to have to leave!

We really enjoyed our holidays in the Dordogne, the property is beautiful and the swimming pool is fantastic, it was perfect really.
