Completely new villa, transformed into a holiday home for those who want to enjoy the typical southern French holiday feeling in a lovely spot close to a village. This holiday home has been furnished with care. It is the little sister of Villa Les Rocs, so we are assured of a super service! In a minimalist style you will find contemporary furniture, good beds, light and space. The whole, together with the nice swimming pool and the spacious garden, ensures a great holiday in the beautiful Dordogne! The house is in a quiet location, yet around the corner from the village of Bachellerie with its small shop / bakery and a restaurant 5 minutes from the village.

Interior

The living areas of Ducaussa are stylish and comfortable and also offer all modern amenities for a great stay: a nice living room, a fully equipped kitchen with island annex bar and a spacious dining table for a shared breakfast. There are 2 bedrooms with double beds and 1 bedroom with 2 single beds. A modern bathroom made of beautiful natural stones.

Outside

Spacious terrace with dining table and pergola. Here you can enjoy a cup of coffee, a good book or an al-fresco dinner in the shade. Adjacent to the terrace you will find the nice private swimming pool. The garden will be planted a little more during the month of June. You can relax on the terrace until the end of the evening…

Environment

Pretty village with café-bar/restaurant a few kilometers from Montignac. 5 minutes drive from the amenities of Terrasson/ Montignac with shops, supermarkets, bakeries, cafe bars and restaurants. Sarlat, 20 minutes away, with all shops, good restaurants and cultural events.

We enjoyed a week at Villa Ducaussa last week. We received a warm welcome from Myriam and her husband, including a stocked refrigerator (two bottles of wine and water). Very thoughtful! We enjoyed the heated pool and completely relaxed. Ducaussa met all our expectations.

We really enjoyed the modern and comfortable holiday home Ducaussa. The house is located in a very quiet area where the birds whistle to their heart's content and where one day we were visited by a mother deer with her 2 bambis in a garden behind ours. The heated swimming pool was wonderful and we often swam and relaxed in our water hammocks in the warm weather.
 
What we also found special was the concern and helpfulness of Myriam and her partner. When we had car trouble at the end of our holiday, Myriam drove us all the way to Trelissac to pick up a replacement car, because we had been promised a taxi by our insurance and it did not show up. We are very grateful to the owners for this.

We certainly enjoyed the house. The first 3 days the weather was nice and we spent a lot of time in the garden and we were also able to swim twice. Unfortunately, it rained for the next few days, so I read books and watched movies indoors. House was pleasant, nice and modern and fully equipped. Location and garden also, and location easy to find. We felt comfortable. It was a great experience all around, with our dog child Harris, and we definitely recommend Ducaussa.
