Just a five-minute drive leads to the heart of Montignac, where there is a choice of riverside restaurants to enjoy, as well as fishing and canoeing on the River Vézère. A little further is the lake at Fossemagne with its sandy beach, and the golf course at Brive.

Hortense has a large living room with bay windows opening on to terrace. Dining area and partly separated fitted kitchen. Utility room. Separate WC. Four bedrooms: One kingsize, one double, one twin and one large open space with a smaller double bed. This open space also has a desk to work on. Bathroom with large corner bath with jets and separate shower cubicle.

With two families. Really a beautiful house! Spacious and equipped with every luxury…. Fortunately, we had good weather, which can also be different in the Dordogne. Really enjoyed it a lot!!

1. An extremely comfortable and well equipped house in a stunning location overlooking the Perigord hills. We have now spent two holidays there and it feels very much like a second home, especially as the owners are extremely welcoming and helpful. The house is ideal for children of all ages - but take your own DVDs to make best use of the enormous TV unless you want to improve your family’s language skills!
2. Beautiful location, well maintained.
3. The private patio area overlooking the pond is lovely. The pool is also lovely.
4. The property is fantastic. Beautifully built with love and care by the owners, with many personal touches that made us feel we were staying in a real family home. A wonderfully peaceful setting, where the only sounds were of birdsong and nature.
