The house has been beautifully renovated and is fully equipped. It is very clean and has a pleasant, peaceful atmosphere. The garden is beautifully landscaped with panoramic views and a lovely swimming pool. It is a bit secluded, but it's the perfect location to relax and unwind after a day of sightseeing.

(07-2025) Dear Marieke,

Les Huttes was fantastic. The owners are incredibly welcoming and responsive (the parasol was broken and they brought a new one, and the stovetop was acting up and they immediately reset it). The location, the quality of the materials, everything was top-notch. There was plenty of tableware, and what was also wonderful: shutters to block out the light and heat so you could sleep in. What a lot of care (and work) went into this villa!

The pool was beautiful and clean (the surrounding tiles were beautiful materials). Combined with the view—we even had deer visiting—we'll definitely be back.

We suggested replacing the beautiful wine glasses with thinner ones, as they break very easily. And in the downstairs bedroom, the mirror wasn't (yet) hung, and there was no place to hang your bathrobe or towel.

This was probably a novelty and completely manageable. This house was a real hit, beautiful. Especially considering the price.

We went to Biron Castle and the market in Cahors, Lac Vert for pedal boating, Rocamadour, Saint-Cirque-Lapopie, and two restaurants in Lherm and Gindou, which were really beautiful and delicious. And we're not done exploring yet, so who knows.

Kind regards,
Violet
