Tucked away in the countryside South West of Brive and down a quiet lane close to the village of Saint Pantaléon de Larche, just a short drive from the lovely town of Brive, a beautifully presented holiday cottage offering Classy Accommodation together with use of a private swimming pool, a great South African style barbecue terrace ànd your own private pond to fish in!

Renovated throughout, Les Oies de Julis provides privacy and a peaceful retreat, with its own access, as well as all the creature comforts a guest could require together with unbeatable private leisure facilities. This is a delightful holiday house situated in one of the loveliest corners of the Dordogne and we are delighted to be able to offer it to discerning holiday makers.

Interior

This with love renovated barn composes of 4 large nicely decorated bedrooms with 2 bathrooms (of which one en-suite), a mezzanine with a convertible bed can lodge up till 10 people easily (there even is a convertible sofa in the living room).

All bedrooms ànd downstairs have airconditioning. The huge living room and open plan kitchen will give you the opportunity to celebrate your holidays together.

Outside

There are several terraces around the house, so that you will be able to sit either in the sun or in the shade. From the house you have a view over the rolling hills and as there are no cars or roads in the vicinity you will feel at ease to let your children play in the huge garden (several hectares). There is a nice private pool with a large terrace for you to enjoy. While you are having your glass of wine and the barbecue on, the children are still playing in the pool. Fond of fishing? You have your own private pond full of carp, perch, blackbass or white fish. (fishing equipment not provided)

Environment

it's in a beautiful area and a great location. There are great things to do, so you won't miss a thing. Great restaurants, excursions, activities and ideas to make sure your stay is even better than you can imagine. A beautiful lake at your doorstep with many watersports to do completes your holiday stay at this lovely holiday house.

We had a very nice holiday in this house! Everything was in good order, neat and very comfortable. The location is very good, quiet area and a short distance from bakery and large shopping center! The rooms are quite spacious, the beds good and the showers comfortable! The kitchen has everything you need to cook for yourself and there is a nice BBQ outside!

What a very light and complete house. In a nice quiet, green place. It is stylishly furnished and fully equipped. There is no dryer, but the weather dried everything quickly. Orioles in the oak tree, a roe deer walked in front of our door. The pool was very pleasant. Really recommended. Good service! Thank you!!!!

We had a wonderful holiday in beautiful Les Oies de Julia. We were warmly welcomed by the owner. The house was neatly clean and the beds were made. The air conditioning came in handy as it was above 30 degrees. The house is fully equipped, but we missed a few potholders / oven gloves in the kitchen.

We had a wonderful week at Les Oies de Julia! Very nicely received by owner Christoph in a beautiful house, which he himself has converted from a barn into a modern and comfortable holiday home.
It is a beautiful location, with beautiful views and wonderfully quiet with lots of privacy. We had a few hot days so the air conditioning came in handy. Excellent outdoor furniture (with seats in several places, so you can always sit in the shade or in the sun), a nice swimming pool, BBQ, table tennis table, large TV and good wifi, in short, everything for a great stay!
