Oléandre
Holiday home Oléandre is a charming, simple, and characterful French country house for up to 8 people, located in the green heart of the Dordogne, near the picturesque village of Coly Saint Amand. This atmospheric home exudes authenticity and tranquillity, offering a delightful view over the surrounding countryside. Interior
The house has a warm, homely atmosphere and a practical layout. On the ground floor, you’ll find a cosy living and dining room with a fireplace, television, and stereo system, perfect for comfortable evenings together. The simple yet functional kitchen is equipped with a microwave, dishwasher, and all basic necessities. A washing machine is also available, making the home convenient for longer stays.
Bedrooms & Bathrooms
The holiday home has four bedrooms spread over two floors:
- On the ground floor, there is a spacious bedroom with a double bed and an adjoining bathroom with toilet and washing machine.
- The first floor has three bedrooms: one with a double bed, one with two single beds, and one with a bunk bed, ideal for children or grandchildren.
- On this floor, there is also a second bathroom and a separate toilet.
A baby cot is available upon request.
Outdoors
The large, green garden offers plenty of space to relax and enjoy the outdoors.
Under the covered terrace, there is a ping-pong table and a barbecue, perfect for long summer evenings with family or friends. The fenced private swimming pool (8 x 4 metres) provides both refreshment and safety, even for families with children. Its peaceful location and views of the rolling countryside make outdoor living here a true delight.
Surroundings
Just 5 kilometres away lies Montignac-Lascaux, where you’ll find many shops. Coly Saint Amand is located in the Dordogne between the popular tourist towns of Sarlat and Montignac and is listed among the 151 most beautiful villages of France. Restaurants and small grocery stores can be found 1.5 kilometres away, and large supermarkets 7 kilometres away in Terrasson. The medieval town of Terrasson is beautifully situated along the Vézère River and offers all the shops you might need, including five large supermarkets, as well as several restaurants in both the old and new parts of town. Ten kilometres away, Montignac is famous for the Lascaux Caves, the first discovered prehistoric cave paintings. Montignac is a lively town with many riverside restaurants and two supermarkets. Forty kilometres away lies Sarlat, the capital of the Dordogne, located in the heart of the Périgord Noir between the Dordogne and Vézère valleys. Seventeen kilometres away, Salignac-Eyvigues is a beautiful little town with a castle.
