We stayed for a week in the Batista holiday home, conveniently located a 10-minute drive from Montignac. It is a comfortable bungalow with a fully equipped kitchen, spacious living room with large corner sofa and television, and dining area. The bedrooms are on the ground floor: two with double beds (one of which is electrically adjustable) and one with two separate beds. The bathroom has a rain shower and sink; Outside there is a handy outdoor shower with warm water near the pool. The house and the large, fully enclosed garden are well maintained.
Service and communication via FranceVilla went smoothly. Holiday home Batista is recommended as a base to explore the Dordogne, with nearby attractions such as Montignac, "Restaurant de la Poste" in Saint-Léon-sur-Vézère, the Sarlat-La-Canéda market on Wednesdays (and Saturdays), and Les Jardins de l'Imaginaire in Terrasson-Lavilledieu. we spent three wonderful weeks at Villa Batista. The house is very nicely decorated, absolutely clean and everything you need is available.
The large pool is fantastic, the property has a great location and is completely fenced to the delight of our Yorkie lady. For her it was paradise.
We spend our vacation for many years only in holiday homes, in Spain, Holland and USA. The Villa Batista is by far one of the best houses and we will certainly come back again.
