We had a wonderful week at Chateaulette! Brilliant weather, of course! We were very impressed by the interior, lovely and spacious! The bathrooms were beautiful, and four of the bedrooms were large. Three bedrooms were not quite as big!
Because the weather was so brilliant, we basically lived outside. Everyone spent the whole day in the pool! The readers among us created a "library" under the trees, so reading only, no talking! Wonderful! The outdoor kitchen was used extensively. What a great space that is.
Furthermore, Olivier and Catherine are very sweet and warm people. They responded immediately to any WhatsApp messages with questions.
For future guests, I would recommend bringing your own pillow. By the way, the duvet covers were beautiful! We highly recommend booking the linen package.
The family thoroughly enjoyed playing ping-pong and using the jeu de boules court. It was really great to have those available.
We will definitely be recommending this little chateau. I've already forwarded the information to several people.

We have now been back from Vicq-sur-Breuilh for a week and a half. We had a fantastic stay at Chateaulette. It started with an extremely friendly welcome from Olivier, who showed us around the garden and the house where he grew up. Oliver and Catherine live on the same property, but at a great distance, so there is plenty of privacy. We experienced our contact with them as very positive. They were there in the background: helpful without being intrusive. We could ask them anything.
The castle is beautiful and well cared for. What a space! The rooms are spacious and well cleaned. There is more than enough in the cupboards: kitchen utensils, crockery, glasses, books, puzzles, etc. We lacked nothing. The castle has also been furnished with care in terms of furniture. Moreover, Chateaulette is beautifully situated on a hill with panoramic views. You won't get tired of it. In short, a beautiful holiday spot!
I would also like to thank you for your help and advice with booking. We appreciate that you thought along with us and also that you finalized the price for us. We are satisfied with how everything turned out. Thanks!
If you would like to receive additional photos for the website, please let us know. There are already quite a few photos of Chateaulette on your website, but I may have some additional photos of details in the house and in the garden (e.g. the pool house). But maybe you think that's enough.
