Thanks for reaching out. The vacation in Mariou was awesome and we enjoyed every single minute of it.

The Villa Elysian is an outstanding house, with everything that is needed for a relaxing vaction, but the most impressive part is the view over the pool towards the sea.

We absolutely recommende the house to other guests, especially for larger groups.

There are some lovely beaches around, but the sunbeds are partilly quite expensive so we would recommend to take the available sun umbrella with you while heading to the beach to find a free spot and stay there.

There are also excellent restaurants down there in Plakias like Antoni's Taverna, which offer excellent food while having a lovely view to the see.

Wow! What a view from the infinity pool. Top location, nice house with 2 studios which makes it feel very private. Spacious villa with plenty of seating/hangout spots around the house. Communication with Sylvia (manager) is really great. Good tips for tavernas nearby. The Plakias area is very beautiful and not yet overcrowded in terms of tourism.

The villa is beautifully situated with a sensational view of Damnoni Beach! It has everything you need, and an outdoor gas grill would be the perfect finishing touch! We felt very comfortable!

Lovely, neat home in a prime location with a beautiful view! All facilities are available; the pool can be heated (partially), and that was certainly necessary in late April. Hot water comes from solar boilers, so it takes some getting used to during bad weather. Fortunately, there is often sunshine. Two studios with a private entrance. The host is friendly, accessible, and helpful. Highly recommended!

We've indeed been back from a holiday in Crete for a few days now.

It's a beautiful location with plenty to do in the surrounding area. You do need a car, otherwise you won't get far. The house is fantastic. You can't stop enjoying the beautiful view. The house has everything you need for a wonderful holiday. Comfortable beds and a well-equipped kitchen. We've rarely seen a house so well-equipped with everything you could possibly need. Plenty of basic groceries, games, air mattresses, etc. for the pool, a drawer with some tools, tape, etc. The house was clean and warmly decorated. Highly recommended.

Special thanks to Sylvia. She's there and easily accessible. She helps whenever needed. We had a problem after a power outage: the pool pump flooded and needed to be replaced. She took care of it and stayed with us continuously until it was resolved. A wonderful woman!

What a fantastic villa with a fantastic view! Super comfortable beds, very well-equipped villa. A BBQ was even brought when we told them we were missing one. Truly fantastic. It's especially nice that the villa is on one level with no stairs. However, you can't go anywhere without a car, as the access road to the villa goes down steeply.
