We had a very nice two-week holiday in the Merlot house. We received a friendly welcome from the owner of the property. It was also very nice that he sent us a text message to warn us that the weather was about to change. Whenever we had a question, he responded quickly, which was really great.
It was wonderful that the air conditioning worked well. Other than that, everything was to our satisfaction. Everything we needed was available in the house—having a washing machine was even a real plus. The pool was lovely and offered a great way to cool off. A supermarket and bakery are just a short drive away.
The house was quietly located in a small village, and we weren't bothered by noise at all. There are nice villages nearby that we visited, although it was quite warm even in the late afternoon. The 11.5-kilometer canoe trip on the Lot was also a lot of fun to do. We did suffer a lot from mosquitoes and wasps, which meant sitting outside in the evening wasn't really an option. But that comes with the time of year. I would definitely recommend this house to others.

We enjoyed the fantastic villa in Cieurac at a beautiful location; wonderfully quiet, yet close to many sights and attractions. The villa and its furnishings are brand new and everything has been chosen with great care. It was extremely clean upon arrival and there are plenty of supplies to keep it clean (a good vacuum cleaner, a great automatic mop, washing-up liquid, dishwasher tablets, etc.). The kitchen was also fully equipped with plenty of cutlery, pans, cutting boards, etc. The pool is delightful and the spacious garden offers various seating areas in both sun and shade, comfortable sun loungers, a nice lounge set, a picnic table, and an outdoor dining set. In short, we wanted for nothing and would love to come back again!

What a beautiful house and lovely surroundings with plenty to do. We were received very hospitably by the owner and the villa was fully equipped.
