A stunning property with wonderful views and a much-needed pool - the weather was hot... The house is very comfortable and there was ample room (and more) for all of us. Everything was ready for our stay and there is more than enough to do and see.

St. Cyprien is very close with a wonderful Sunday market which is well worth visiting. Lucco is the BEST patisserie! Other great places nearby including Beynac and La Roque-Gageac. Castles are superb (Beynac, Castelnaud, etc), as are the gardens and views at Marqueyssac. BOOK EARLY for an evening meal at the Belle Etoile in Beynac and go on a Gabarre trip. Canoeing on the Vezere from Les Eyzies was much quieter and relaxing than the crowds on the Dordogne. Sarlat is amazing, as is the Gouffre de Padirac if you're happy to drive and are not worried about crowds...

Overall a great place to stay.

Great house within 10 mins of the Dordogne. Secluded location with pool in v pretty valley. For a family holiday with friends it worked perfectly.
