The house is wonderful if you want to enjoy some peace and quiet. The private pool is fantastic with an adjacent canopy where you can eat with an electric BBQ. The kitchen has enough facilities to make delicious meals. The house is also very clean. Tip: bring games for kids! The village has only 1 shop.

Thank you for your email. We have now received the deposit. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Remietta in La Bachellerie. The villa had sufficient facilities to have a nice holiday. We also made frequent use of the outdoor barbecue (electric). There is also enough in the kitchen to make a good meal. The children of course enjoyed the swimming pool. There was a nice inflatable donut in it. There are plenty of lovely (lounge) chairs around the pool.
The owner (Bernard) is also very friendly and we have enjoyed his vegetable garden several times. The sweets from cleaning lady Fanny were also very popular with the kids.
The Dordogne is a beautiful area with chateaus, caves and rivers (kayak & canoe). In the village of La Bachellerie there is 1 shop (small supermarket and bar). The larger supermarkets can be found in Montignac or Hautefort.

We had a great week at Remietta, La Bachellerie. We were warmly greeted by Fanny who gave us the key and a tour of the house. The house was clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated. The terrace and pool was fantastic; we were lucky enough to have great weather so spent most of our time outside. Short walk to the village which had a shop with bread and supplies, plus supermarkets nearby. A wonderful holiday and all went very smoothly with the rental just like last year.

We just got back from a day in the Dordogne with lots of beautiful souvenirs. A nice house in the style of "Perigordin" with a very complete interior. Super clean.
The reception was very warm by Fanny the governess, the parents of the owners came by regularly to ask if everything was going well.

We really enjoyed our 2 weeks in Remietta. This holiday should have lasted a little longer. The cottage was not that big but in perfect order and equipped with the latest amenities. The private pool of course made it complete. The garden was perfect for our dogs. The village itself was also very charming but maybe a bit too quiet for us. This is of course our personal opinion and may be different for everyone. This was now our 2nd holiday with FranceVilla and we are very satisfied again!
