Le Caillou is a characterful country house dating back to 1733, situated on a sunny hill with expansive grounds just outside the picturesque village of Sigoules, in the heart of the Dordogne. This charming holiday home combines authentic French allure with modern comfort, making it ideal for families or friends looking to enjoy peace, nature, and outdoor living. The village, featuring a supermarket, bakery, and restaurant, is only 1 km away. The highlight of Le Caillou is the large, heated private pool located right by the terrace, basking in the sun all day long, perfect for relaxation and fun on sunny days.

Inside

The interior reflects the character of this historic country house, featuring a cozy living room with a wood-burning stove and a small television for relaxation. The separate, fully equipped kitchen offers everything you need: an American-style fridge-freezer, Nespresso machine, airfryer, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, kettle, and blender. The house has three comfortable bedrooms: two with double beds and one with two single beds. The bathroom features both a bathtub and a shower, along with a hairdryer, complemented by two separate toilets for extra convenience.

Outside

The house is surrounded by spacious and atmospheric grounds with various spots to unwind. The heated private swimming pool (5 x 11 meters, depth ranging from 1 to 2.2 meters) is designed for pure enjoyment. Sun loungers and parasols invite you to long, lazy days, while the terrace, complete with an awning and barbecue is perfect for convivial meals in the garden with stunning views over the valley.

The Dordogne is a region full of charm, with picturesque villages, vast vineyards, and lively markets. The area offers plenty of opportunities for walking, cycling, golfing, and canoeing on the Dordogne, Vézère, and Dropt rivers. Le Caillou is an ideal base for a relaxing holiday where peace, nature, and comfort are key. Its location near the Lot-et-Garonne makes it easy to explore that region as well. Furthermore, it is close to Bergerac with its airport and countless vineyards (and therefore, delicious wines!).
