Villa Beaumont

Villa Beaumont is a beautiful modern villa in Southern France with heated private pool and Jacuzzi for 4 people and a baby. Beaumont is situated on a hill and offers a fantastic view over the rolling hills. There is an enclosed garden of no less than 6 acres.

Interior

This holiday home in the Dordogne region dates back to 2009 and is very comfortable (underfloor heating) and fully furnished. In entire house is wifi available.

The living room has a spacious sitting area with television via satellite with Dutch and English channels. Adjacent to the open kitchen is a large dining table with a great view towards your private garden on two sides.

The kitchen of Beaumont is well equipped and fitted with an induction hob, oven / grill, microwave, fridge-freezer, dishwasher and a Nespresso coffee machine.The utility room has a washer and dryer..

Bedrooms and bathrooms

Beaumont has two bedrooms, each with its own bathroom and toilet.

The master bedroom is 16 m2. There is a large linen closet and a double bed of 160 x 200 cm. Adjacent to this bedroom is a spacious bathroom with two sinks, a shower and a toilet.

The other bedroom is 11 m2 and has two single beds of 90 x 200 cm. There is a small wardrobe. Next tot he bedroom is a small bathroom with a sink and a large shower. There is a separate toilet.

Outdoors

Around the house you find several terraces, where always either sun or shade is available. There is also a spacious veranda facing west with BBQ and a large dining table from where you can enjoy the beautifil sunsets. The location of the villa provides total privacy around the pool and the Jacuzzi. The pool is 9 to 4.5 meters and has (light) salt water instead of chlorine. Adjacent is the spacious jacuzzi. Around the pool are sunbeds and deck chairs.

Surroundings

The nearest village with all amenities is Issigeac, three kilometers away. Here you find all the basic amenities such as restaurants, bakery, butcher, bank, pharmacy and various other shops such as a wine specialty store and gas station.

Bergerac is the 'big' place nearby, fourteen kilometers to the northwest. There are also the larger supermarkets. Bergerac has its own airport which is only a fifteen minute drive.

And yes, we would love to go back to Villa Beaumont. I hadn't gotten around to emailing a review yet. But we really enjoyed Montaut. The house fit like a coat. All the spaces are so well laid out and it felt so nice. And that view... you keep looking. Wherever you sit, you always have a beautiful landscape to enjoy. The pool and jacuzzi were great, we spent a lot of hours in them.

Stephane was very nice and helpful. We had a great time with our daughter and are already looking forward to next year!

The location of the house, the layout, the facilities and the view of almost 360 * makes the house an ideal stay for a holiday of many weeks .... It was of course out of season and therefore very quiet, but there was adjacent village of Issigeac a Spar and a bakery and a number of restaurants open and on certain days you could pick up a pizza. The large supermarkets are a 40-minute drive away in Bergerac. At 25 minutes in Villereal and Beaumont.

We had a wonderful holiday and it was a beautiful house. Despite the corona and a number of bad weather, we enjoyed the days when we also had good weather and could use the pool and jacuzzi. We have visited nice villages in the area, including Bergerac, Sarlat, Beynac-et-Cazenac and La Roque Cageac. The latter two can be combined with the morning visit to Sarlat where there is a lively market every Wednesday and Saturday.
We have visited a wine farm in 24240 Saussignac, Chateau Feely.

A point for improvement is the instructions for use of the various devices, which can now only be read in English and French.
For television we translated it into Dutch ourselves, which made Sabrine very happy.
