Villa Medusa
Villa Medusa is a beautiful recently built villa with a private swimming pool, located on the sunny south coast of Crete. This atmospheric villa accommodates up to 6 guests and combines luxury, comfort and privacy in a unique setting with stunning views over the valley and the Libyan Sea. Thanks to its smart layout, the villa is perfect for couples, families or friends looking to enjoy peace, space and relaxation together.
Inside
The main house features a cosy open kitchen, an inviting living room with panoramic views and a spacious bedroom with a king size bed and ensuite bathroom. There is also a separate toilet and a laundry room.
Through the spacious outdoor kitchen, you reach the two separate bedrooms, both equipped with a double bed, a private bathroom and separate toilet. All rooms feature air conditioning, sliding doors, mosquito screens and blackout curtains. Fresh herbs grow on the charming patio and are yours to use while cooking.
Outside
Around the private pool you will find six comfortable sun loungers where you can fully enjoy the sun and the beautiful surroundings. The spacious outdoor kitchen with large dining table is the perfect place for long breakfasts or cosy dinners on warm summer evenings. Parasols, an outdoor shower and parking facilities are also available.
Please note: Villa Medusa is less suitable for children under 12 years old. The main house has one bedroom, while the other sleeping quarters are separate and located slightly higher than the main house, accessible via a few steps.
Surroundings
From the villa, you can walk straight into the valley through the olive groves and enjoy the peace, nature and clear starry skies. The beach is only a ten minute drive away.
The authentic village of Mariou is within walking distance and offers a small local shop, a cosy grill taverna and a traditional kafenion (Greek coffee house). The lively village of Plakias is only 4 km away and offers supermarkets, restaurants, beach bars, a diving school and a long sandy beach. Or enjoy a relaxing olive oil massage and end the day with a beautiful sunset from one of the terraces or beach bars.
