We had a wonderful holiday in Gourdon/Gourdonette! It was quite hot on some days, reaching 41 degrees... so the swimming pool was our best friend.
- We hardly spent any time inside and found the area around the house very pleasant because there was always a nice spot to be found to sit comfortably, have breakfast, lunch, or dinner, and enjoy the starry sky and the crickets until late in the evening.
- We would definitely recommend the house to others; the location is quiet.
- Tip for future guests: you are asked to dispose of waste separately; there are two containers for this (yellow and grey) 100 meters next to the house. It took a bit of searching to find the glass recycling bins; these can be found in the back left next to the car wash in the left parking lot near the square where Action, Intersport, Pharmacy, and Intermarche Supermarket are located.
We found the Intermarche supermarket (there are 4 within a 5-minute drive) to be an absolute highlight; good butcher and freshly roasted rotisserie chickens.

Beautiful house, lovely large pool with walk-in steps. Fully equipped. Great location close to the town center. A charming town with several restaurants and bars and a lovely weekly local market. Yet peacefully situated on the edge of Gourdon. Plenty of shops nearby for daily groceries. Bakery within walking distance.

We've thoroughly enjoyed our holiday and this lovely house over the past two weeks. On these hot days, we really enjoyed the lovely pool. Our kids absolutely loved it too! The last few days of our holiday were a heatwave (temperatures around 40 degrees Celsius), so you really miss the air conditioning.
The surrounding area is also beautiful, and within a half-hour drive you can reach the beautiful spots of the Dordogne and the Lot.

We had a wonderful holiday in this beautiful house with a fantastic pool in Gourdon. The house is spacious and the garden is huge. Even though you're in the village, you have complete peace and privacy. Considering the hot days, the pool was also wonderful.
The only thing we missed was air conditioning (around 40 degrees Celsius for a few days).

We spent a week in your fantastic house. Because a beautiful spacious garden and a great pool! There is a heat wave in this region now so the pool was indispensable.
It was also very nice to be within walking distance of all the shops. We enjoyed the characteristic streets and the market on Saturday. The caves of Cougnac are also recommended and also nice and cool: we went from 38 degrees to 14 degrees!

Dear Delphine and Gerald, from June 12 to June 26 we celebrated our holiday in your beautiful and cozy house (with a lovely swimming pool). Gourdonette is within walking distance of the old center and the shops. Nice to get fresh bread every morning. Within half an hour you can reach the famous sights of the Dordogne and Lot. But don't forget about the smaller villages nearby. Less touristy and just as fun. Very nice area for cycling.
